The Shoals Christian Flame had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.3 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They blew past Lindsay Lane Christian Academy 57-17 at home. Considering Shoals Christian has won three contests by more than 26 points this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Sarah Davis (2025) was her usual excellent self, scoring 15 points along with 4 steals. That makes it seven consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Shoals Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaleigh Owen, who scored 12 points.
Shoals Christian's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Lindsay Lane Christian Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shoals Christian has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Alcorn Central at 6:00 p.m. on November 30th. Alcorn Central will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak. As for Lindsay Lane Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
