The Brandon Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 53-24 loss at the hands of Germantown. Brandon has not had much luck with Germantown recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Germantown's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alana Rouser, who scored 14 points along with 8 rebounds. Rouser is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last seven games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Raegan Jordan, who scored 13 points along with 5 rebounds.
Brandon's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Germantown, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
Brandon will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Petal at 6:00 p.m. Petal is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Germantown, they will head out on the road to face off against Callaway at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
