The Little River Redskins stacked a 14th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 67-19 victory over Elyria Christian. The victory was just business As usual For Little River, who after 16 games remain undefeated this season.
Little River found their leader in underclassman Arika Feldman, who scored 22 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Feldman has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last nine times she's played. Another player making a difference was Alaina Eck, who scored nine points along with six steals.
Little River pushed their record up to 16-0 with that win, which was their tenth straight on the road. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 49.5 points. As for Elyria Christian, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Little River will challenge Spearville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Little River focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Friday. As for Elyria Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Berean Academy on Tuesday. Berean Academy will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Elyria Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
