Patrick Henry extended the longest winning streak in City this week by beating Morse, 13-0. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Patriots.
Patrick Henry made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 2,413 from 2,528. The advance stemmed from a 13-0 victory over the Tigers last week.
Lewis Butler was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 14 carries, he ran for 119 yards as Hoover topped San Diego. Holiday also contributed to the rushing game with 96 yards on the ground.
HUNTER CORRELL put up the best numbers through the air as Serra fell to Cathedral Catholic. He had a total of nine completions for 96 yards. CORRELL's favorite target this week was CALVIN CROCKETT, who caught four passes for 48 yards.
Holiday was the best wideout in the league this week as the Cardinals bested the Cavers. Holiday racked up three receptions for 81 yards. Karl Perez helped Hoover's passing attack out by catching one ball for five yards.
Thanks to the talents of CORRELL and WILLIE MARTINEZ the Conquistadors have been able to do all sorts of things on offense. CORRELL leads the league in passing with 1193 yards, while MARTINEZ has rushed for 539 yards this season. Mike Martinez's team's Jabril Clewis leads the league in receiving yards with 469 on 25 catches.
