Graham Posts Huge Game in 44-26 Loss
Starting off the list is Standley Lake's Liam Graham, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Graham rushed for 160 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.9 yards per carry, and also picked up 103 receiving yards and a touchdown. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 71 yards.
For the year, Graham has caught those 1 touchdown while averaging 23.7 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had eight rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to 15.

Browen Wills posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Thursday. He made six total tackles. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 77-yard run.
Holy Family has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. Wills and Holy Family will venture away from home to challenge Thompson Valley at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Monte Samaras Makes It Two for Holy Family
Keeping Wills company is Monte Samaras, a fellow Holy Family player. He rushed for 88 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also threw for 94 yards and a touchdown.
On the season, Samaras has thrown 14 touchdowns while averaging 171.7 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after nine games last season, he was only averaging 0.11 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 52.89 rushing yards.

Big Game from Wald As Lutheran Won 55-0
Sawyer Wald was instrumental in extending Lutheran's winning streak to seven on Thursday. Wald did his part (and then some), rushing for 80 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries for the 'W'.
Wald must have Kennedy's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Wald saw the Commanders), he rushed for 119 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries.
