The Oregon-Davis Bobcats were the 86-38 winner over the North Judson-San Pierre Bluejays when they last played one another back in February of 2016, but their luck changed this time around. Oregon-Davis took a 53-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of North Judson-San Pierre on Saturday.
North Judson-San Pierre's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kyleigh Lehiy, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 15 rebounds. Lehiy has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Avaree Johnston was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 steals.
Oregon-Davis now has a losing record at 3-4. As for North Judson-San Pierre, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.
Oregon-Davis will be playing in front of their home fans against Marquette Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Marquette Catholic is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for North Judson-San Pierre, they will face off against Morgan Township at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Morgan Township will be coming into the match with an undefeated record on the line.
