The Hamilton Big Blue's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their sixth straight loss. They were dealt a 65-14 defeat at the hands of Mason. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Hamilton has scored all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mason to victory, but perhaps none more so than Madison Parrish, who scored nine points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Jazmyn Johnson, who scored eight points along with three steals.
Hamilton bumped their record down to 2-10 with that loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 29.4 points per game. As for Mason, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-2.
Hamilton will head out on the road to take on Colerain at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Ohio (Colerain is ranked 581st, while Hamilton is ranked 565th). As for Mason, they will take on Portsmouth at 5:20 p.m. on Sunday. Portsmouth is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
