There's no place like home for Roxana, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Metro-East Lutheran Knights on Wednesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Shells as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

Roxana easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-21.

Ava Cherry was the offensive standout of the contest as she had ten digs. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September.

Roxana's victory bumped their record up to 10-23. As for Metro-East Lutheran, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-26.

Roxana has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Salem on the 23rd. Metro-East Lutheran does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
