Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Pius X). They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lutheran South Academy Pioneers on Thursday, sneaking past 7-6. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 6-2 win the Pioneers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

The victory got St. Pius X back to even at 2-2. As for Lutheran South Academy, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 9-1-1.

St. Pius X wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Mansfield Homeschool on the 28th. As for Lutheran South Academy, they have also already played their next matchup, a 12-0 victory against Cooper on the 28th.
