 Essex Tech now  has a winning record of 4-3. As for Triton Regional, they now  have a losing record of 3-4.
 Everything went Triton Regional's way against Essex Tech in their previous meeting  back in November of 2024, as Triton Regional made off with  a  42-21 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
