On Friday, St. Andrew's was the victim of a tough 54-31 loss at the hands of Covenant Christian. St. Andrew's has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Covenant Christian had a senior duo take command as Keeley Chaddick scored 21 points along with three steals and Alani Owens scored 15 points along with six steals and five assists. The match was Owens' 15th in a row with at least ten points. Audrey Byrd was another key contributor, scoring two points.
St. Andrew's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Covenant Christian, they pushed their record up to 10-8 with that win, which was their sixth straight on the road.
St. Andrew's and The Christian School at Castle Hills will round out the year against one another at 3:45 p.m. on Friday at. Hopefully The Christian School at Castle Hills focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Thursday. Covenant Christian is on the road again on Friday and play against Rosehill Christian at 4:30 p.m. on December 29th. Rosehill Christian is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
