The Dupo Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Marissa/Coulterville Meteors at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Dupo has struggled recently with three losses in a row, while Marissa/Coulterville will arrive with three straight wins.
Last Monday, Dupo came up short against Bunker Hill and fell 38-28.
Dupo's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Kaitlynn Townsend, who scored 8 points along with 7 rebounds, and Addison Mitchell who scored 12 points along with 6 steals. The matchup was Mitchell's third in a row with at least ten points.
Meanwhile, Marissa/Coulterville earned a 41-31 win over Sparta on Monday.
The losses dropped Dupo to 1-4 and Bunker Hill to 1-2.
Dupo came out on top in a nail-biter against Marissa/Coulterville in their previous matchup back in January, sneaking past 21-19. Will Dupo repeat their success, or does Marissa/Coulterville have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
