The North Miami Beach Chargers pushed their score all the way to 62 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They received a tough blow as they fell 77-62 to Jackson. North Miami Beach was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Generals apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
When it comes to explaining why North Miami Beach lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jaycob Joseph. Despite the final result, he scored 23 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Joseph hasn't dropped below three steals for three straight games. Dixson Brumaire was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with two steals.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jackson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jordany Fils-Aime, who scored 26 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Fils-Aime has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Leonard Clark, who scored 22 points along with three steals.
North Miami Beach's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-11. As for Jackson, their victory bumped their record up to 11-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Miami Beach will square off against the Sharks at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jackson, they will head out on the road to square off against the Rams at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
