Baker moved up to 386 from 420 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 1A District 1. The Gators were able to make the jump by beating West Gadsden 35-3.
Baker took down the Panthers 35-3 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Freeport's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Gabe Moore threw for 146 and two touchdowns and Morgan Hardee had 79 yards receiving. On the ground Owen Cole chipped in 72 yards. Zack Fordem helped Freeport's passing attack out by catching two balls for 45 yards.
Joseph Scapaci made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Bulldogs lost to Walton. The senior recorded one fumble.
Freeport's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bulldogs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Moore has thrown for 357 yards and five touchdowns this season, while Hardee has 12 catches for 198 yards. Cole leads the league in rushing with 208 yards.
Matt Brunson's team made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 8,112 from 8,967. The advance stemmed from a 35-3 victory over West Gadsden last week.
