With a playoff game on the line, Miami Country Day rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 116-49 win over the Sharks. Miami Country Day's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Herbert Wilson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 51 points and 18 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Reid, who dropped a triple-double on ten points, ten assists, and ten steals.
In what's become a running theme this season, NSU University gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They breezed by Scheck Hillel Community School on the road to the tune of 100-22. The win was nothing new for NSU University as they're now sitting on five straight.
It was another big night for Anthony Ferrer, who scored 26 points. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 16 or more in the last 12 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jackson Scherfer, who scored 14 points.
Miami Country Day is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 15-10 record this season. As for NSU University, their victory bumped their record up to 19-5.
Keep an eye on the arc in Thursday's match: Miami Country Day have been dynamite from deep this season, having nailed 45.2% of their threes per game. It's a different story for NSU University, though, as they've only made 9.32% of their threes this season. Given Miami Country Day's sizable advantage in that area, NSU University will need to find a way to close that gap.
