The Central Hawks pushed their score all the way to 55 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 69-55 bruising from Chattahoochee County. It was the first time this season that Central let down their fans at home.
Despite the loss, Central still got an impressive performance from Joshua Seldon, who scored 22 points. Seldon scored a full 40% of Central's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Demarcus White, who scored 12 points.
Central's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-5. As for Chattahoochee County, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central will take on Macon County at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Chattahoochee County, they will be playing at home against Webster County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Webster County is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.
