Silver Valley had a rough outing against Southlands Christian last Friday, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Silver Valley took their matchup against Excelsior Charter on Friday 33-26. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Silver Valley as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
Silver Valley started the contest off right with 27 first-half points. Meanwhile, Excelsior Charter couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 27-0 heading into the break. Silver Valley were outperformed in the second half 6-26 but had enough points saved up to walk away with the win.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Silver Valley will stay at home next week against Big Bear at 7:00 PM. Silver Valley will be hoping to continue their now four-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last. As for Excelsior Charter, they will face off against Riverside Prep. Both of those teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
