Meanwhile, Morgan fell victim to Texas Wind and their airtight defense on Friday. They were dealt a 52-0 defeat at the hands of Texas Wind. Having soared to a lofty 33 points in the game before, the Eagles' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Things could have been worse for Hill County, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 76-58 loss to Morgan in their previous matchup back in September of 2023.
