After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Tom Bean, The Alvord Bulldogs were happy to have found some success on Friday. They put the hurt on Whitewright with a sharp 33-7 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Alvord also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2022.
Alvord's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Whitewright, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
Alvord will be playing in front of their home fans against Nocona at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Nocona is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Whitewright, they will head out on the road to face off against Tioga at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Tioga has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 169 points over their last four games.
