The Camden County Wildcats suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. Their rough 66-45 loss to Andrew Jackson might stick with them for a while. It was the first time this season that Camden County let down their fans at home.
When it comes to explaining why Camden County lost, one person who can't be blamed is DeNigel Cooper. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. Ja'Marley Riddle was another key contributor, scoring five points along with seven rebounds and two blocks.
Camden County's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 14-4. As for Andrew Jackson, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 16-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Camden County will take on Colquitt County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Colquitt County is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak. Andrew Jackson will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Gray Collegiate Academy at 7:00 p.m. on February 2nd.
