Volleyball Recap: Newberry Has No Trouble Against Eastside

Newberry's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Eastside Rams as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Carly Myers paced Newberry's offense, picking up eight kills. Myers got some help from Kinsley Harvey and her 14 assists. Harvey was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Newberry's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Eastside, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Newberry will host Union County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eastside, they will be playing at home against North Marion at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Rams' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
