Collegiate always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .587. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Saint John Paul the Great Catholic got themselves on the board against Elizabeth Seton on Thursday, but Elizabeth Seton never followed suit. They blew past the Roadrunners 11-0. The result was nothing new for the Wolves, who have now won seven contests by seven runs or more so far this season.
Molly Daly made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out eight over five innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.
In other batting news, Saint John Paul the Great Catholic got a massive performance out of Gianna Fratantonio, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Fratantonio has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Ashlinn Brackett was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run.
