Gulf Shores has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 64-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of Faith Academy on Monday. Gulf Shores has not had much luck with Faith Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
St. Michael Catholic's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-5. As for Gulf Shores, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.
St. Michael Catholic strolled past Gulf Shores when the teams last played back in December of 2020 by a score of 50-32. Will St. Michael Catholic repeat their success, or does Gulf Shores have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
