6A District 12 recap September 10, 2013
East Lee County scaled the state rankings by moving to 227 from 258 this week, the biggest jump in 6A District 12.
Ida Baker took down Key West 24-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Sage Attwood threw for 171 yards and ran for 74 yards in the win.
Matt Yzaguirre and Kevin Moreland gave Lehigh a balanced attack in passing and rushing last week. Yzaguirre threw for 161 yards and 5 touchdowns, while Moreland ran for 162 yards. Robert Clay also contributed to the rushing game with 70 yards on the ground.

Roy Denson was the best wideout in the league this week as the Bulldogs defeated the Conchs. Denson tallied 6 receptions for 88 yards. Griffin Urraro helped Ida Baker's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 31 yards.

Yzaguirre put up the best numbers through the air as Lehigh lost to DeSoto County. Yzaguirre's favorite target this week was Stef'An Strawder, who caught 5 passes for 68 yards.
Moreland was the best running back in the league this week.
Attwood was a passing and rushing force as Ida Baker topped Key West.
Brian Conn's team's Attwood and Denson have formed a dream team this season, leading 6A District 12 in both passing and receiving yards. 6-1 quarterback Attwood has thrown for 351 yards this season, while Denson has 8 catches for 157 yards. Moreland from Nate Sund's team leads the league in rushing with 166 yards.
The Lightning led the league in scoring this week by notching 35 points on the Lightning.
