Despite the loss, Sunrise Mountain still got an impressive performance from Caden Hammond, who went 5 for 12 en route to 12 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Trey Hill, who posted nine points.
Sunrise Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Notre Dame Prep, their victory was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-3.
Sunrise Mountain will look to defend their home court on Friday against Centennial at 7:00 p.m. Centennial knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 16 contests -- so hopefully Sunrise Mountain likes a good challenge. As for Notre Dame Prep, they will venture away from home to face off against Chaparral at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Chaparral has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
