Birmingham is 0-3 against Chaminade since February of 2019 but things could change on Monday. The Patriots will face off against the Eagles at 3:30 p.m. Birmingham will be strutting in after a win while Chaminade will be coming in after a defeat.
While Birmingham's victory against Chatsworth wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Patriots skirted past the Chancellors 2-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Patriots have posted since March 25th.

Not much got past Annabella Venegas, who gave up just three hits and racked up 12 Ks to keep Chatsworth off the board. Those 12 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for Venegas.
On the hitting side, Birmingham saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bella Gonzalez, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Chaminade fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Harvard-Westlake on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 14-11 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolverines. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Eagles, who until this contest were averaging 3.71 runs allowed.
Casey Glantz made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in all five of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was London Mills, who went 1-for-5 with one home run and three RBI.
Birmingham's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-7. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Chaminade, their loss dropped their record down to 16-4-1.
Monday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Birmingham hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .345. However, it's not like Chaminade struggles in that department as they've averaged .333. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Birmingham couldn't quite get it done against Chaminade when the teams last played back in February of 2025 as they fell 10-5. Can the Patriots avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
