Saugus had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Santa Barbara Dons. The Centurions haven't had any issues with the Dons recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Saugus walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 24-26, 25-14, 25-17.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Saugus to victory, but perhaps none more so than Emily Tran, who had ten digs and four aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Bailey Posey, who had 18 assists and seven digs.
