Kell lost against Mt. Bethel Christian Academy back in October of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Tuesday. The Longhorns took  a  2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Longhorns' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
 Kell was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the  first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22,  25-20.
 Kell's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Rilee Wells, who  had 14  digs. Wells has been hot recently, having  posted 12 or more  digs the last three times she's  played.  Gracie Barrett also deserves some recognition as  she  had her first  kill of the season.
Kell's defeat dropped their record down to 20-17. As for Mt. Bethel Christian Academy, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 24-18 record  this season.
 Coincidentally, Kell and Mt. Bethel Christian Academy will both be playing Cass the next time they take the court. The Eagles will head out to face the Colonels at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday, while the Longhorns will play them later in the day, at 7:00  p.m.
