Everything went their way against the Socastee Braves on Friday as Carolina Forest made off with a 20-3 win. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Braves: they've now won four in a row.
Kaysen Warehime was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Those two runs gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Carolina Forest let Natalie Nesheiwat and Mady Eason run wild. Nesheiwat went 3-for-5 with five RBI, one triple, and one run, while Eason went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those three hits gave Nesheiwat a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brianna Baker, who scored three runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
