Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Southwestern). They blew past the Milan Indians 88-44 on Friday. The Rebels have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 21 points or more this season.

Leading Southwestern to victory were Landon Kidwell and Braxton Lewis. Kidwell dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 boards, while Lewis went 9 for 14 en route to 21 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Kidwell is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for five straight games. Caleb Seals was another key player, going 5 of 9 on his way to 15 points.

The victory (which was Southwestern's fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.2 points per game. As for Milan, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.

Southwestern didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 75-52 win against South Dearborn on the 1st. As for Milan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 79-64 defeat against Switzerland County on the 1st.
