Basketball Recap: Lanier Christian Academy Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Brianna Clark and Ellie Roberts

The Lanier Christian Academy Lightning lost 60-34 to the Station Camp Bison on Friday. The Lightning have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Lanier Christian Academy had strong showings from Ellie Roberts, who posted nine points, and Brianna Clark, who earned three points and six rebounds. That's the most rebounds Clark has posted since back in January.

Lanier Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Station Camp, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Lanier Christian Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on West Hall at 7:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025. Station Camp will also get a bit of a break before their next matchup: they'll face off against Springfield at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
