Berkshire strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They claimed a resounding 30-0 win over the Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin Lions. Considering the Badgers have won five matches by more than 29 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Berkshire got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Mary Lee out in front who picked up 57 receiving yards and two scores. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Jones, who threw for 112 yards and three touchdowns on only eight passes.
Berkshire didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off five passes before the game was over. Hannah Hutchinson and Caitlyn Rucinski were the leaders of the group effort as each produced two apiece. Hutchinson got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Berkshire's win bumped their record up to 7-0.
Berkshire wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 35-6 victory against Lutheran West on the 17th. Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
