The Nebraska Lutheran Knights will be playing at home against the Shelby-Rising City Huskies at 7:30  p.m.  on Saturday. Both teams come into the  contest bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Last Thursday, Nebraska Lutheran didn't have too much breathing room in their  game against High Plains, but they still walked away with a  54-49 victory.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Nebraska Lutheran to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Caleb Eldridge, who  scored 11 points along with two  steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Eldridge has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Eli Vogt, who  scored nine points along with five  steals.
 Meanwhile, Shelby-Rising City's and Meridian's contest  on Saturday was close at halftime, but Shelby-Rising City turned on the heat in the second half with 38  points. Shelby-Rising City was the clear victor by a  61-38 margin over Meridian. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  win Shelby-Rising City has posted  yet this season.
 Nebraska Lutheran's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Shelby-Rising City,  the  win  got them back to even at 5-5.
 Everything came up roses for Nebraska Lutheran against Shelby-Rising City in their previous meeting  back in January of 2023 as the  squad secured a  82-51 win. Will Nebraska Lutheran repeat their success,  or does  Shelby-Rising City have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
