Grove City Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Rylee Thompson led the charge by scoring 14 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals. Emma Vanzuiden was another key contributor, scoring 7 points along with 12 rebounds and 5 assists.
Despite the loss, Liberty Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Shelby Carr, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 18 rebounds.
The victory makes it two in a row for Grove City Christian and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Liberty Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
