Big Game from Andrews As Mountain Brook Won 42-0
Starting off the list is Mountain Brook's Stuart Andrews, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Andrews rushed for 139 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.2 yards per carry.
Mountain Brook has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. Andrews and Mountain Brook will venture away from home to take on Shades Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Brody Gossett was a major factor in Pell City's win over Pinson Valley on Friday. Gossett did his part (and then some), throwing for 241 yards and a touchdown for the 'W'.
Pell City's victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-4. Gossett will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against Central of Clay County on Friday.

Keenan Britt and Co. Win Eighth in a Row
Oxford picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Keenan Britt. Nobody could stop Britt as he picked up a sack and made 13 total tackles.
Oxford pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Britt and Oxford will venture away from home to square off against Huffman at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Oxford picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Nick Richardson. Clay-Chalkville had no answer to Richardson as he picked up 65 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Clay-Chalkville had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Richardson it was a similar story. Richardson picked up 124 receiving yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Cougars duked it out back in October of 2023.
