The South Central Timberwolves took care of business in their home opener on Friday (and then some). They blew past Pawnee Heights 67-22 at home. That's another feather in the cap for South Central, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Despite the loss, Pawnee Heights still got an impressive performance from Jimmy Gardner, who scored 6 points.
South Central's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Pawnee Heights, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
South Central will square off against Hoisington at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Hoisington focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 29 on Friday. As for Pawnee Heights, they will face off against Rawlins County at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
