Milton won the last time they met up with Mt. Abraham, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. Milton walked away with a 21-12 victory over Mt. Abraham.
After a totally unproductive first quarter, the Milton offense stepped up its game and put 13 points on the board in the second quarter. Mt. Abraham countered with 6 points, leaving the score at 13-6 going into the half. The other side of the ball was dominant for Milton in the second half, holding Mt. Abraham to a measly 6 points. The win bumped Milton's record up to 3-2. The loss dropped Mt. Abraham's record to 1-4.
Next week Milton take on Lyndon Institute at 1:00 PM. Those two teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous games. Mt. Abraham will be staying on the road, facing off against Bellows Falls.
