Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Salisbury). They took down the Scotland County Tigers 64-50 on Friday. The victory was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on four straight.
Salisbury pushed their record up to 7-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points per game. As for Scotland County, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Salisbury will head out to take on Green City at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Green City will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Salisbury surely won't give up without a fight. As for Scotland County, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Schuyler County at 7:30 p.m. on January 28th.
