After two weeks on the road, Hickory Hawks is heading back home. They will square off against Victory Christian Center at 7:30 PM on Friday. The teams both have had a rocky road up to this point with six consecutive losses for Hickory Hawks and eight for Victory Christian Center.
Hickory Hawks have to be aching after a bruising 12-35 defeat to SouthLake Christian Academy last Friday. The state rankings had actually given Hickory Hawks a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
Meanwhile, Victory Christian Center have to be hurting after a devastating 18-51 loss at the hands of Asheville School (Independent). Victory Christian Center were down by 12-44 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Hickory Hawks were fully in charge the last time the two teams met, breezing past Victory Christian Center 62-6. Will Hickory Hawks repeat their success, or does Victory Christian Center have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
