The Chattahoochee Cougars posted their biggest win since December 9, 2023 on Tuesday. Everything went their way against North Springs as Chattahoochee made off with a 51-31 win. Given Chattahoochee's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 184th, while North Springs is ranked 412th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Riley Berninger, who scored 19 points along with six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklinne Dorr, who scored ten points.
Chattahoochee pushed their record up to 14-5 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for North Springs, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-14.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chattahoochee will take on Greater Atlanta Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Springs, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Northview at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
