The Northeast Metro RVT Knights scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Nashoba Valley Tech 78-48 on the road. The win was a breath of fresh air for Northeast Metro RVT as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.
Chris Zullo was his usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with six assists and six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Richard Cardoso, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Northeast Metro RVT's victory bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Nashoba Valley Tech, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.
Northeast Metro RVT will head out on the road to challenge Minuteman Regional at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Nashoba Valley Tech, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Mystic Valley Regional at 6:00 p.m.
