Kyle Arguello gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in April of 2024 on Thursday. He was dynamite, not allowing a single earned run over eight innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

Even though Arguello couldn't lead Cottage Hill Christian Academy over T.R. Miller, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Sadly, Arguello's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Warriors' four-game streak of wins at home.
