Despite the defeat, Nazarene Christian Academy had strong showings from Mavanee Franks, who scored 9 points along with 6 rebounds, and Dakota Becker, who scored 6 points along with 4 steals. Becker hasn't dropped below two steals for seven straight games.
Avalon's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Nazarene Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
