Greenville Christian have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They are packing up and heading on the road for their first away game this season. They face off against East Texas Christian Academy on Friday at 4:00 PM. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Things haven't been easy for Greenville Christian, and their match two weeks ago only extended their streak of losses to four. They took a serious blow against Faustina Academy two weeks ago, falling 21-69.despite the loss, Greenville Christian saw an underclassman step up: Sophomore Wilson Feezel passed for 107 yards and 2 touchdowns
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 13-60, which was the final score in East Texas Christian Academy's tilt against Faustina Academy last Friday. East Texas Christian Academy were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 13-38.
Greenville Christian took the contest and then some with a 51-6 victory the last time the two teams met over East Texas Christian Academy. The rematch might be a little tougher for Greenville Christian since the team won't have home-field advantage.
