After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Nelson, Sandy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Gresham Gophers with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in August.

Sandy pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Gresham, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sandy will face off against rival Barlow at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Gresham is set to square off against their familiar foe Clackamas at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
