The Mulberry Panthers will square off against the Victory Christian Academy Storm at 7:30  p.m.  on Monday. Mulberry will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

 Jaden Sweeney tossed a big game,   striking out eight batters over  six innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   five  hits. That's the most  strikeouts  he has posted since back in February.
 At the plate,  Brock Thielen was  incredible,  scoring a  run and  stealing six bases while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances. Those  six  stolen bases gave  him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Griffin Cline, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Meanwhile,  after soaring to 15  runs the game before, Victory Christian Academy was a bit more limited  in their  contest  on Friday. They fell just short of Foundation Christian Academy by a score of  3-1. The Storm's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
 Victory Christian Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Braylon Mitchell, who  went 1-for-3 with one  double.
 Victory Christian Academy's  defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 12-5. As for Mulberry, their victory bumped their record up to 15-5.
