Diamond Hill-Jarvis has gone 8-2 against Western Hills recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Eagles are taking a road trip to face off against the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Diamond Hill-Jarvis gave up the first runs on Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They walked away with a 6-2 win over Southwest. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

MILIANO RIOS was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was MARCIANO RIOS, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Western Hills). They blew past Dunbar 14-0 on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.
Axel Sanchez made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple marked the first that he hit this season.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Rodolfo Sandoval, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Giovanni Ramirez, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
Western Hills always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .629. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Western Hills is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-15-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Diamond Hill-Jarvis, their record now sits at 8-11-1.
Everything went Diamond Hill-Jarvis' way against Western Hills in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as Diamond Hill-Jarvis made off with a 16-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
