1A-2 Region IV District 14 recap Oct. 30, 2012
Falls City extended the longest winning streak in 1A-2 Region IV District 14 this week by beating Woodsboro, 30-22. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
Falls City led the league in scoring this week after putting up 30 points on the Eagles. Cameron Soto ran for 158 yards in the win.
Steve Marbach's team's Soto and Phillip Lyssy have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Soto has thrown for 1054 yards this season, while Lyssy has 21 catches for 274 yards. Dylan Torres from Runge leads the league in rushing with 803 yards.
A big matchup in 1A-2 Region IV District 14 this week will be when Pettus takes on the Yellowjackets. As it stands, the War Eagles are in fifth, while Runge is in first.
Louise made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 12,958 from 13,246. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 28-20 victory over Pettus last week.
