After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Adobe Mountain, the Sequoia Charter Stallions were happy to have found some success on Monday. They enjoyed a cozy 39-22 win over Premier.
Among those leading the charge was Donovan Marshall, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds. The contest was his third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Asher Roehl, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Sequoia Charter's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Premier, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Sequoia Charter will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Heritage Academy Gateway at 6:00 p.m. on January 9, 2024. Premier won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Heritage Academy at 5:00 p.m. on December 19th. Heritage Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
