Quincy came out on top against Portola on Tuesday thanks in part to Nathan Schmid's efforts. Schmid scored three runs while going 1-for-4, which was good enough to set a new career-high in runs.

Looking ahead, Schmid and Quincy will challenge Maxwell at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are at an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2016, but likely not for long.
